Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ProStack NG Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use AutoReport (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, work email, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Customer Data: the data sources, connection details, templates, recipient lists, and report content you create or upload to use the Service. Database connection strings are encrypted at rest.

Billing information: subscription plan and payment status. Card details are handled directly by Paystack, our payment processor; we do not store your card number.

Usage and log data: sign-in activity, API usage, and system logs used for security, troubleshooting, and enforcing plan limits.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the Service, including generating and delivering your scheduled reports;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To send transactional email, such as account verification, approval notices, and delivery confirmations;
• To maintain security, investigate misuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to train machine learning models.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only where needed to run the Service:

• Paystack, to process subscription payments;
• Resend, to deliver transactional and report email;
• Our infrastructure providers, who host the application, database, and file storage that the Service runs on;
• Recipients you designate, who receive the reports you configure the Service to send them;
• Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by applicable law.

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your account information and Customer Data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, and access controls limiting who can view customer accounts and data internally. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and applicable data protection law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly from your account settings, or contact us using the details below for anything else.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International Use

The Service is operated from Nigeria. If you access it from another country, your information will be processed in Nigeria and, where applicable, in the countries where our infrastructure and service providers listed in Section 3 operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice within the Service before they take effect.
